Cramond Kirk Hall
- Project: Cramond Kirk Hall
- Year of completion: 2000
- Client: The Church
- Architect: Smith Scott Mullan Associates
A bold new hall extension built on a site, which is part of a scheduled historic monument, providing a multi-purpose hall, foyer and auxiliary facilities as an extension to the existing modern hall. Archaeological considerations influenced the foundation design. The need for a light, open reception/breakout space meant the superstructure required sensitive design to provide large open spaces with a minimum structural volume.
