David Narro
BSc(Hons), CEng, FICE, FIStructE, FConsE
David is a Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer with over 30 years experience. He has a special interest in 'architectural' engineering and in conservation and remedial works. David has been an advisor to Edinburgh New Town Conservation Committee on their new handbook, serves on the RIAS Conservation Committee and is an external tutor at Edinburgh University Department of Architecture. David is a Board Member of the Scottish Registration Board dealing with applications to become Approved Certifiers and he is an Approved Certifier. David was Chairman of the Scottish Branch of the Institution of Structural Engineers for the session 2003-2004. He also served on the Council, the Professional Conduct Committee and the Strategy Study Steering Group of the Institution of Structural Engineers in London. He has been elected to Council for 2006-2009.
Andrew Brown
BSc (Hons), CEng, MICE, FIStructE, FConsE, ACIArb
Andrew is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with over twenty years experience in the design of major building projects. He has particular experience in major city centre commercial developments, housing and educational buildings and more recently in arts, leisure and conservation related projects. Andrew has worked for large and medium sized consultancy practices before joining David Narro Associates in 1992. He is a member of three professional institutions, is the past Chairman of the Edinburgh Area Branch of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is a member of the Saltire Awards Panel for Civil Engineering.
