This project involved the conversion of existing garages into accommodation, the renovation of two existing greenhouse structures as well as the construction of a new hexagonal seminar room. The works also involved raising the height of an existing listed wall structure to support the roof trusses of the new accommodation buildings.
The seminar room itself is a loadbearing masonry structure with a steel roof structure supporting glazed roof lights. There are also steel channels within the seminar room walls to allow the stone work to be built to a height of nearly 6m with no internal support.
