This project involved a major extension to an existing NHS facility in the West end of Glasgow, comprising a 4-storey steel structure with concrete slimdeck flooring on the upper floors. DNA carried out the structural design and acted as contract administrator for the demolition of the original building.
Piling and substructure concrete design had to be coordinated with waterproofing details around the perimeter of the structure, with retaining walls required on two sides of the building.
