Ben Adam
BEng(Hons), CEng, MICE, MIStructE
Ben Adam is an Associate and Section Leader with over nine years experience in the design of building structures and three years post-chartered experience. Ben is currently the Project Manager of the Royal Museum project, which requires considerable management of time resources and staff. Ben joined David Narro Associates from university and has successfully risen to become the leader of a section of four engineers. Managing the production team is one of the many skills he possess which are required to meet the client and project aspirations.
Dominic Echlin
MEng CEng, MIStructE
Dominic is an Associate and Section Leader with over 16 years experience. He has a special interest in 'architectural' engineering and in conservation. He has worked on a number of major conservation projects in London and more recently in Scotland. He is an active member of the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain, and various other societies. Dominic is an Approved Certifier of Structural Design for the SER scheme.
Steve Wood
MEng, CEng, MIStructE
Steve Wood is a Structural Engineer with 10 years experience. He joined David Narro Associates in November 2007 as a Senior Engineer and Section Leader. Steve has a special interest in conservation and has worked on many of England's most important historic buildings. These projects ranged from St Paul's Cathedral and Kedleston Hall to major refurbishments and interventions, such as the House of Lords' Refreshment Department at the Palace of Westminster. He is an active member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) and serves on the Technical Panel. In 2005, Steve was an SPAB Scholar.
Chris Scott
HNC Civil & Structural Engineering
Chris Scott is a senior structural engineering technician with over 10 years experience on a variety of projects. These include repairs and refurbishments of old buildings, office blocks, new build houses and flatted developments and associated civils' work. The project range has enabled him to gain wide detailing experience in steel, concrete, masonry, timber, road construction and drainage.
Amanda Douglas
BA(Hons)
Amanda is the Practice Manager. She joined David Narro Associates in 2005 and has over 15 years of administrative experience ranging from fashion, publishing, interior design and local authority. Amanda has been a committee member of NADFAS (Borders).
