Ali is a Structural and Civil Engineering Technician who joined David Narro Associates in May 2015. She has experience on a variety of projects of all sizes including the repair and refurbishment of historic buildings, new build houses and flatted developments, along with the associated civil engineering work. Ali produces engineering drawings using traditional CAD software and 3D modelling as required. She will assist on site with the survey work of existing buildings and ground investigations.
Kirkmichael Heritage Centre, Black Isle - Restoration of a Category B listed 16th century church. Works included masonry repairs, a new roof construction using as much of the original material as possible and new stone floors. Later work included interpretation design creating steel frames to display medieval grave memorials. Value £430k.
Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh - Refurbishment and alterations to the main conference centre and lecture theatre of a Category A listed Georgian Building. Main works included a large two-storey rear wall slapping and the installation of a new atrium lift core. Value £2.1m.
