Senior Engineer - Edinburgh

Angus is a Senior Engineer who joined David Narro Associates in May 2014. Prior to joining DNA, he worked for a year and a half on the construction of the Queensferry Crossing for the Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (FCBC). Angus has a keen interest in sustainability and architectural design in the built environment. Having focused on structural design at university, Angus enjoys being able to apply his skills and knowledge to the conservation and restoration of historic structures and buildings, as well as new build projects.

Key Projects:

- National Conservation Centre (The Engine Shed) Stirling - Redevelopment of the site and building to provide a centre that expands the understanding and knowledge of traditional building techniques, materials and supports the skills needed for conservation and repair work. Value £4.2m. The Engine Shed, Stirling.

- Campbeltown Picture House - Project aim was to conserve the original auditorium and provide a second screen, modernising the facilities and making it sustainable for the future. Value £2.5m. Campbeltown Picture House.

- Cnoc Soilleir, South Uist – Development of a greenfield site on South Uist to provide a school/centre for Gaelic culture and music. The building aims to provide teaching facilities as well as cutting-edge recording and performance spaces. Value £5.5m
