The Green House at Eskhill is constructed alongside a historic garden building which was also restored as part of the project.
The new house itself is a steel frame structure to allow the incorporation of an almost entirely glazed front façade. The main room in the centre of the building utilises curved steel sections to create the houses distinctive “wave” shaped roof. The building has a green roof over its entire extent to help it sit within the meticulously landscaped gardens. An xisting shed was restored and linked to the new building.
