We worked with Oliver Chapman Architects on this residential project in the Trinity area of Edinburgh. The bespoke project adapted and extended a spare bedroom to create new summer and garden rooms.
A variety of materials were used, including oak shakes, sedum roof blanket, copper cladding panel and extensive glazing. The ceiling is made of a zig-zag timber structure that supports a green roof of different heathers and mosses. The new Garden Room is filled with natural light and enhances the connection between the home and garden.
