DNA are fully invested in BIM level 2 and are continually developing the resources and training to evolve with this process while maintaining a high quality service.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is constantly evolving and is transforming the construction industry. BIM is a digital 3D model-based process which creates and manages information on a construction project through the project lifecycle. The model provides a digital description of every aspect of the built asset through which structural analysis can be carried out and documents produced. The BIM process promotes collaboration through storing and sharing information in a central location, it ensures all members of the design team has access to up to date information, promoting a streamlined workflow while reducing duplications and errors.
Our knowledge and experience in working with historic buildings and ancient monuments is highly regarded and we take advantage of adopting BIM for the challenges of working with heritage. This experience in a fast developing field has allowed us to successfully implement BIM in a number of high profile conservation projects.
